there is one chip to the underside rim and some rough spots around the rim

It is marked only with the country of origin on the back

reminding me of Wedgwood's early cream-ware

The carnations are hand painted in shades of green

Though unsigned, the "Melting Snow" moulded border is unique to Samuel Alcock c. 1830. Alcock owned potteries at Burslem and Cobridge and existed from 1828 59.
