Korsič Friulano Collio DOC, 2019 baja Rio began with the RaicillaThis wine is made of 100% Friuliano. We would pair this with roasted artichokes, with a lemon caper vinaigrette. Friuliano is the staple indigenous white of Friuli, the eastern most Italian wine region that shares a border and culture with Slovenia and Croatia. Friuliano sometimes gets mistaken for Sauvignon Blanc, but has bolder fruit character and distinct herbal notes.
