18th Century Lavender Paste Earrings gold charm A rare and beautiful antiqueDATE: Georgian, c. 1780 Exquisite Georgian earrings set with the loveliest lavender purple paste gemstones in dish back, pie crust settings. The stones are peruzzi cuts a precursor to the old mine and, ultimately, the modern brilliant cut with angular rectangle profiles and set over foil to enhance their colour and brightness. Dating from the late 18th century, the wires are 9k gold and the earrings themselves gold plated. The ear wires are later
