We have done some trials and you can get these lights to work with lower value resistors but these get hot so we have found that 22 Ohm is the highest value resistor ( runs cooler ) that can be used and everything works OK

The blue version looks really good and as these lights are only ON when the car is stationary there is no legal issues using these

PLEASE NOTE: That for US Spec vehicles you should connect the Grey wire to Yellow wire

Card Formatting - One little secret if you buy one of these - if you tap the power button 6 times in 3 seconds the cam does a forced SD card format
