Victorian Stanhope Nudes Binocular Pendant memorial Crafted in sterling silver throughoutDATE: Victorian, c. 1900 Cool antique binocular charm featuring two Stanhope micro photographs of naked women, one in each eyepiece. Crafted in yellow metal (I'd say brass based on the weight) with green leather cover and jump ring for wear as a pendant charm. Stanhopes, aka Stanho scopes, were invented by Ren Dagron in 1857 as a way of viewing microphotographs without the need of an expensive microscope. In 1862, Dagron displayed the devices at the
